Jamie B. (Mar 2019): Hey all! I just want to give a shout out to Angela Hill: her company, A Kilted Hash, far exceeded my expectations last week. Last month I ordered 10 happi coats. With her help, we designed them all and made them look spectacular! She was a pleasure to work with, and the prices were very reasonable. In addition, she got my coats to me in about four weeks time because she understood the time crunch I was in. If I ever… let me rephrase that. When I order happi coats again I will be using her company, because I know that the results will be fabulous and everybody who gets the coats will be exceptionally pleased…just like they were with this order!!! I give 5 stars

Whitney M. (Dec 2018): A Kilted Hash Happi story! After tryin to get a hold of one company for two months, AKH came to the rescue! I had these within a month after first contact. Once they were finished, I had them within a week. These things are nice!! Very nice lining, embroidered back pitch, silk screened names, and even had the flask pocket in the inside like me requested. Stitching is nice, and it is very warm! Does run a size smaller than your typical size, but just order one up. This thing is warm, stain resistant, and has some “guts” to it, so it will last quite a while! Great job guys! (Patch looks wrinkly because I had the Happi kind of crumpled in my hash bag after my last hash- y’all know how it is lol).

Daddy’s Little Screamer (Sep 2018): I had the pleasure of working with A Kilted Hash on our kennel’s special happi cloaks! This was a very customized design with custom measurements for each hasher, and Angela was fantastic to work with throughout the entire process. She really went above and beyond to help us meet our needs. 10/10 would recommend!

Blew Hole (March 2017): A Kilted Hash; they make kilts. Well made kilts. But they also make Happi coats. It took a bit longer than anticipated; we had some design issues, but well worth the wait. Angela was extremely helpful, provided exceptional costumer service and worked with our budget, ideas, and issues. She was flexible and made sure we had a quality product. The Happi coats are well made and I’m sure my kennel will love them. Thanks! On On!!!

Ritchie Bittsay (Jan 2018): Angela worked with us on our *six month* design process for a happi coat. I’m sure we were complete pains in the ass but throughout the entire time she was always kind and communicative. We originally had an order of 20 coats (@$65 per, shipping included), but after the design was finalized, more people loved the look and wanted in on it.In the end she was able to get us custom printed fabric and, when the women’s coats didn’t fit right, she got new ones shipped out pronto. We really appreciated giving our money to another hasher, and she certainly deserves all the business we can give her!

Mike S. (Sep 2016): Only posting this cuz I was asked to by another hasher. For happi coats, patches, bag tags, any Korea hasher knows where to get them made at Mr. Yu’s. Your average patch and bag tag goes for 3,000₩. You have two different materials for happi coats, light weight goes for 35,000₩ and a heavy weight goes for 45,000₩. That price includes the patch on the back and the kennel and name down the front. I do not know what they do for shipping costs and you will have to discuss that with them. BE WARNED, KOREA-ISMS ARE A REAL THING. The Yu’s are very intelligent but there is still a language barrier some things might not come out 100% how you like it ( slight misspelled words is a common thing ). Their email address is mryu77@naver.com use it wisely.

Toots (Oct 2017):   We also ordered happi coats from them. I’ve included pics of the pricing for different materials and colors they can come in. We were a little disappointed with this order because originally the coats were going to arrive in time for Japan Nash Hash, but due to troubles at the factory, then a shipping error they arrived 2 weeks late. I did appreciate them letting me know about the delays before they happened and their response time was good. Just sucked they arrived after original date.

J. Pi Duff (Sep 2017):  I order through rnwmain@gmail.com. This company has already given me two heart attacks and well on its way a third. The first happi coat order I placed he mixed up mine and another order in California. Ironically I knew the Hasher he sent it to because I knew who ran the kennel of the coats I received. We had to mail them to each other. Second order they did not update my shipping address after stating it multiple times and I had to go hunt down my package of almost 40 happis before someone stole it. They do not speak English well. Their customer service is ridiculous. But unfortunately I deal with it because they make amazing happi coats. This current order I have is almost 80 happis and they’re already stressing me out. I can say, when they made an error on a one happi though, they did quickly send a correct one. They just need to hire someone that speaks better English. They also only communicate through email.

Titless (Oct 2014): Durable water-repellent material. Made in the Philippines… ~45 days for first order to arrive. About $42 each depending on size and options. All the size charts are in the groups file uploads, and so is the PowerPoint file we made our design. From your home computer, click “Files” in the top right under the group’s cover photo. Order a size or two bigger than you are used to!
I can vouch for the customer service. For some reason I am a magnet for factory mistakes and similar situations. When we ordered our first round of coats, we received them with our front logo saying “Since 1999” instead of “Since 1991” despite us sending in a complete .png file with it correct. RNW offered to send us patches to cover it up and refund the amount of money if would cost to have them embroidered. The first patch he sent was a piece of ragged cloth that just wouldn’t work and look nice, so we renegotiated to get embroidered patches with about 50 extra patches we could sell in leiu of a cash refund. It all worked out and we were very satisfied with RNW’s desire to make it right… and his replies were immediate.
